Kona Earth's Mother's Day gift collection includes a variety of Kona-inspired items, such as handmade coffee soaps and scrubs, aromatic candles, and decadent 75% dark chocolate made with Kona cacao.
As a mom herself, Kona Earth co-owner Joanie Wynn curated the collection. She wanted to bring a Hawaiian spa experience to moms everywhere. With these gifts, Joanie hopes to offer the feeling of a relaxing tropical vacation in the comfort of home. "We wanted to create something that would stimulate all the senses with delicious flavors and scents," Joanie explains.

Kona Earth has partnered with other artisans to create these luxurious items. Tiffany Riffer uses Kona Earth's roasted coffee beans to make her coffee scrub soap, blending both liquid and ground coffee with emollients like coconut and olive oil. Big Island chocolatier Ken Melrose hand-pours the 75% dark chocolate bars using Kona cacao from the farm.
Joanie handpicked the featured items. "Our goal was to include only high-quality, island-inspired items that embody the relaxation and tranquility of the Big Island," Joanie adds, "The items I chose had to be things I love and use myself."
In addition to offering these lovely gifts, Kona Earth's founders, Steve and Joanie Wynn, are committed to giving back. With their "Care In Every Cup" program, the company donates a percentage of proceeds to support the Hawaii-based non-profit Kohala Center, specifically to support their reef preservation efforts at Kahalu'u Bay.
