Kona Earth Gives Back

Care in Every Cup

You can enjoy every sip of your premium, 100% Kona Coffee knowing that you are contributing to the greater good.

At Kona Earth, we believe in abundance. Not the material kind, but the spiritual kind that translates to gratitude, joy, and living life to the fullest. An essential part of that spirit is our belief in giving back. To that end, a percentage of proceeds from every Kona Earth purchase goes to support our local non-profit partners.

The Kohala Center is an independent, community-based center focused on research, education, and ‘āina (land) stewardship. They advocate for fragile island ecosystems including coral reefs, cloud forests, and farmlands. Located in Waimea, their programs include:

  • Kahalu‘u Bay Education Center established in 2011 to promote reef-friendly practices to visitors in an effort to protect the bay’s fragile ecosystem and ensure the bay and park remain a clean, safe, and welcoming place for visitors and residents alike
  • Kohala Stewardship Program dedicated to restoring and protecting the source of our wai (water): the native cloud forests of Kohala Mountain
  • Ōhāhā Mahi ‘Ai Agricultural Training and Education Program  dedicated to training new farming families on Hawai‘i Island and inspiring island youth to consider careers in agriculture.
