It is a natural anomaly in which only one seed develops instead of the usual two, resulting in a rounder bean with a superior flavor profile.

I bought the peaberry coffee was expecting ground coffee instead I got whole beans I can make it work but would have been better ground

We only sell whole bean coffee since our customers prefer the flexibility of grinding to their brew method specifications. Plus, it preserves bean freshness significantly longer. Sorry you missed that info on the website but hoping you'll love the coffee.
My wife and I are coffee snobs. We both love Kona Earth coffee. We were lucky enough to purchase the Peaberry and it is at the top of the charts. Very smooth, but big in flavor. We will definitely splurge on this coffee again.
