Roasted to Perfection
We micro-batch roast on-site and ship our whole bean coffee farm-direct for supreme freshness.
I've tried Kona beans from 4 different estates. The smoothness and incredibly deep, rich taste of the Kona Premium is a 98 out of 100. I am at a loss for words with how spectacular and amazing it tastes. Now, I only drink ONE cup of coffee a day. I have a $170 Fellow Kettle. A Hario digital scale, a Hario V60 drip system with Hario filters, a VSSL conical burr grinder, and a Hario coffee pot that keeps the coffee above 180°F for a couple hours. I use LG brand filtered water from our LG monster French Door fridge, heat the water to 200°F, measure out 26g of beans, make sure the filter is rinsed with hot water before adding the ground beans that are the size of rock salt and SLOWLY pour 411g of water in circles over 2 1/2 minutes then immediately put the vacuum lid on the coffee pot. I remove the drip system before the last 10 grams or so of water enter the pot to avoid bitter/acidic taste. Can't wait until they have the Kona Peaberry back in stock!!
