When I received the package, I felt the chocolate beans from the outside of the bag and thought, wow they are vacuum sealed. Then I realized the packaging was not vacuum sealed.
When I opened the bag, all the chocolate beans were fused together. I was able to gather a couple loose beans and try them which taste good.
I wonder though because of the beans fused together did that impact any flavor.
Im thinking through the delivery, perhaps heat played a part. There was no caveat to shipping in the summer. Id suggest noting as a warning before purchasing or ship with a container so this doesn’t happen.
Sorry to hear you were disappointed. The melting should have no impact on flavor and, with the excessive heat across the country, is something beyond our control. I'd suggest popping them into the refrigerator so that they don't melt further.

'Chocolate Shipping Disclaimer: We keep our chocolate products refrigerated but once they are shipped via FedEx, they may be exposed to warm temperatures causing them to melt, or discolor during transport. Please keep this in mind when you order since we have a no returns/refunds policy on chocolate goods.'
